This paper emphasizes the critical significance of the Nutrition Facts Label, a regulatory requirement by the FDA, in promoting healthy eating habits. By highlighting the FDA’s recent updates to the Nutrition Facts Label, the research advocates for its prompt implementation by all food manufacturers. A comprehensive survey spanning three countries, Egypt, India, and Iran, conducted over the past three years, examined the consistency and variations in the labeling of food products. The findings reveal substantial modifications to the Nutrition Facts Label structure and daily nutrient values, along with the addition of new nutrients such as added sugars and choline. As outlined by the FDA, these developments underscore the importance of ensuring updated and accurate nutrition information on food packaging, with the ultimate goal of fostering healthier dietary choices.
