Cimetidine, a drug for ulcers, can have detrimental effects on the male reproductive system. This study explores the protective potential of olive leaf extract (OLE) in male rats exposed to cimetidine. Rats were divided into control, cimetidine, and cimetidine+OLE groups. The cimetidine group displayed reduced body and testicular weight, semen parameters, sex hormones, and antioxidant markers. However, the cimetidine+OLE group exhibited significant improvements in these aspects, indicating that OLE can effectively mitigate cimetidine’s harmful impact on male reproductive health.
